Speedy, good work as always my friend. Those 24 season sets will certainly be completing the last two seasons of my collection.

WOW Great Price on Gears of War. I just bought it last weekend for 59.99. Will Target stores do a price adjustment since I still have my receipt? Or am I screwed because I already opened the game? It's worth a shot for 20 free bucks back.

While I am happy to see you here jericho2003hhh I hate to tell you that Target usually doesn't do pricematches EXCEPT against their own ads.

Since you are indicating that you have the receipt and and if it is from Target, you should be good to go. Bring this ad with you and tell them you bought it two weeks ago and you should be golden.

Happy Holidays!

If you are craving 24 my friend, Best Buy 1 day sale on Christmas Eve Day (7 AM - 5 PM) has seasons # 1 - #5 for $19.99 EACH! It looks like these $20 sets are for all week but I don't expect them to last through 12/24/06 if you know what I mean.

Have a great holiday my good friend bravesmsg!

Sold! I think that I'll PM it at CC and put my $5 gift card that I got when I bought Bones to good use. Thanks for the prices as always, speedy.

EDIT: I completely missed speedy's post regarding the $19.95 price for 24 at BB. I'll get it there with the double RZ points and hold on to my CC gift card a while longer.

It's $22.49 at Costco, along with other recent WB shows(Supernatural, Invasion), if that means anything to you(hopefully, you're a Costco member).

You are right. The only ones I get on release day are the ones that I really want to see right away. The rest I just wait for.

Why not purchase a new copy and return it with the old receipt? Not completely ethical but neither is taking the Sunday sale price on Saturday night before the ad starts. (My Target starts pricing products on Saturdays - sometimes changing signage sometimes without changing.)

I know that I am justifying something not completely ethical to make my point.

EDIT: I completely missed speedy's post regarding the $19.95 price for 24 at BB. I'll get it there with the double RZ points and hold on to my CC gift card a while longer.
The double RZ points ends on Dec 24 so you can't double if you buy 24-Season 5 at the $19.95 price on Dec 26. (Now if the sale starts on Dec 24, ok, but I'm thinking Speedy means the sale going on all week means-Dec 26-Dec 30th. Still its an extra bonus getting at BB than at Target-due to the rz points anyway.)

Was just going to post, humm, should I get 24-Season 5 at $24.95 at Target or wait until next Nov for a $14.99/$17.99 deal...now since its $19.95, I'll get it now - why wait... So I'll be stopping by Best Buy tom and picking up a 24-Season 5 and then make another trip on Dec 26 (or later in the week, if the sale goes for the whole week) for a price adjustment..who hoo!

Thanks once again Speedy!!!

I don't see anything unethical about buying a new copy and returning it with the old receipt, but that's just me. As far as being unethical, I'm going to hide a copy of 24 Season 5 at BB before Sunday because I don't want to have to get up early on Sunday.

In post #9, speedy mentions that the sale is on Christmas Eve.
