Worst DVD in your collection?
I have some that I just wish weren't there, but I don't have anything to do with them.
Probably, for me "The Scorpion King". I just look at it with dread. I might comeback later with another...
So what is the worst, god-awful release in your collection? One where the site or thought of it makes you cringe...yet, you just can't part with it.

Batman Begins. It's my least favorite movie I own. I blind-bought it based on my brother's recommendation. Then I remembered my brother his mediocre taste in movies. Haven't gotten around to selling it to a kid with down syndrome yet.

Hmmm my original Full Screen R2 version of Glengarry Glenross
Closely followed by Hollywood Homicide...what was I thinking? One funny scene doesn't make a movie...hurrumph

I dunnooooooooooo...guess I'd say "The Gate". It's a childhood favorite, and a filler until I can get the R2.

Ninja Turtles III. I got it because I like the first two OK (movies of my youth), and had to have them all, even though I didn't even like III when I saw it in the theater.

Either 2010 or Vampires. I've thought about dumping both at one time or another, but 2010 is virutally worthless at this point, and I have a pretty big soft spot for Carpenter's stuff -- though not big enough to still own Ghosts of Mars...

Harlequin released by Prism here in r2. It's a great film but the DVD is utterly dire; the opening titles are in widescreen everything switches to pan-and-scan for the main feature, then widescreen again for the closing titles! It also uses the worst print I have ever seen used for a DVD - frame after frame of massive print damage - and a dreadful transfer looking like a fifth generation VHS copy.
Fortunately, the r1 disc under the title Dark Forces is excellent quality anamorphic widescreen. As was the showing we got on the BBC not long ago.
I thought that the DVD's released here by Vipco were bad enough (their release of Asylum lead me to think that the film was made to look foggy in every scene til I saw the Anchor Bay edition), but the one above takes the biscuit.

Major guilty pleasure.
