For me, it would be both Crash and The Patriot. They were bought for me as a joke, because when the films ever come up in conversation, I do a lot of heavy sighing and eye-rolling. I still have the DVDs, and they're still sealed.

cheers,

Off the top of my head, I'm thinking Navy Seals. But I probably have something worse.

Probably, for me "The Scorpion King". I just look at it with dread. I might comeback later with another...

So what is the worst, god-awful release in your collection? One where the site or thought of it makes you cringe...yet, you just can't part with it.
None so far!

Just got this as a gift for my daughter in FS as well. I returned it for WS and popped it in. Shut it off after 5 minutes and wished I hadn't bothered wasting my time exchanging it.

It's probably Evil Alien Conquerers, but I personally love that movie. It stars Chris Parnell and Diedrich Bader. (Tori Spelling also has an unbilled role in the movie.)

It's really a pile of dung. I think I'm just a sucker for a Chris Parnell flick.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation

Perfect example of why I sometimes hate to be a completist.

Fantastic Four: EE
Bought it blind for ~8 because it had free movie ticket for the new FF
What a steaming pile of you-know-what.....
How could anyone in their right mind greenlight a sequel to this? Makes that Brett Ratner directed X-Men 3 look like a Palme d'Or winner

It used to be The Shipping News, until I threw it out. Now, it's a Sonny Chiba film called "The Bodyguard". It's not even good in that "so bad it's good good" kind of way. It just sucks, plain and simple.

They are usually the blind buys of second sequels of movies I liked but never knew there was a third or sometimes even second film made. For instance, I loved "Creepshow" and even "Creepshow 2" wasn't too bad, but I recently got "Creepshow III" at the DD sale and it was simply God Awful! Same thing for the sequel to the already sequel-sounding "Return of the Living Dead" movie from the 80s. I loved that movie but the DVDs I got of "Return of the Living Dead II and III" were some of the worst crap I have ever sat through.

I now dread opening and watching the sequels I bought to "Dusk 'til Dawn".

Mine would have to be The Wicker Man especially since I bought the special edition in the wood box. I had read all these people talk this movie up so I went in and blind bought it. This movie (the original not the remake) was god awful and my friend has still never let me live it down (good thing I hold the The Eighteenth Angel over his head)! I love the constant reminder of it since it is to large to fit into any shelf I have for my dvds!

Tick Or Treat, my dad got it for me thinking I would like it since it has Ozzy Osbourne in it

dishonorable mentions:
The Waterboy
Batman & Robin
Fast and The Furious
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

How could you like ROTLD but not like ROTLD2? It's not possible.

Probably Elvira's Haunted Hills, however, since it's beautifully
signed by Elvira herself, it's still cool with me.

I just purchased the Dusk 'til Dawn sequels and while not the best they were not that bad.
