Corvin's Cheers: the Complete Collection

The complete series. Basically all are done. 7-11 just need the official synopsis, UPC and episode per disc order.

Nice job.

What case size are these for?

Incredible job...I usually have no interest in replacing a case that would require me to store the original digipak somewhere else, but those are very tempting. I am curious though...Ive always thought the Cheers characters had a corresponding character in the opening credits...why not match the featured character on each cover with their corresponding historic character?

Considered that, but watch the credits again.

- Most of them have their name across the image of the person
- Rhea Pearlman's corresponding pic is just a shot of her legs
- Available resources, I had availble material to scan for every season of the non cast images
- Some of the non cast images are just as memorable (i.e. we win, the toast, etc.)
- Screen grabs don't produce a high enough quality to be viable use
- Redundant - having the character as the focus on the front AND back is overkill, IMO

That being said I think I decided to try out 4 screen grabs just to see the results. I printed them out and 2 work well enough(season 3 & 5), 1 of them (season 6) I had to revert to a previous image I had it looked so bad, and season 7 I haven't printed yet.

For a show that ran 11 years, 11 digipaks take up a LOT of space, shinking them down to single size cuts that space by over half. Plus the digipaks are ugly, now with season 6+ non consistent with design.

Finally, the specs for season 7 were released recently and that cover is complete.

I know I have asked before, but where can I download your covers? I checked Madvd and the Den.

Thanks

That's awesome. Where did you get the shots of the cast on the barstool?

Re: Corvin's Cheers: the Complete Collection

I know this is an old thread but where could I download these custom Cheers covers? I recently started buying the seasons and like these covers much more than the standard art plus it would save a lot of room. Thanks.

They should all still be available on r1db.com. If you have a big email box I can send them to you.

Mike86, kstublen and ENDContra all have mail. I'm just sending the first three to make sure they go through. I'll send more later.

Thanks a lot for the great covers man!! Do you have any advice on the best way to print these? Any certain program I should use or something?

Yep, got them too, look awesome! Gonna have to finally pick up the last two seasons.

Now, if only I could find a Frasier coverset that was remotely as good as these...
