Home Theater / Living Room Problem
OK, so right now I am not happy with my TV location. The TV was in spot 'A', but is now in 'C'. With the way my room is set up, it is tough to get good placement for viewing and sound. I was hoping you people could give some insight.
I was considering boxing in the doorway near 'B', but that would cut like 3' out of the parlour (front area). I dont think the wall can be removed due to being a supprt wall, but I am not sure. I can also add dimensions if necessary.
Any questions or comments would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah, all the inputs for the TV are on the lower left corner (when you are looking at the front of the TV) so I kinda need the left side accessable or buy a bunch of new (longer) cables.

to me, 'A' seems like it's the best option...'b' cuts off an entrance (also making it an eyesore for the other room), and 'c' puts it too close to the fireplace (even if it's not a working fireplace, speaker placement would be difficult)..
could you put it in the corner by 'A'?

I thought about that, It may be the way I have to go. It will actuall fill the coner, so speaker placement may still be a problem, and longer cable will be needed since the components well be about 6' away from the TV jacks. (Short cables were not a problem with a 27" TV!

I think between A and B is the best position too.
