The Dimension and Weight is almost similar to the V for Vendetta Bestbuy Exclusive Boxset

Thanks Xage, the pic helped me gauge it.

Could you approximate it's weight for me?
Would you say it's under 2 lbs? Total?

A Canadian one, Future Shop exclusive (bastards). The one in the picture I believe was mentioned as being R3 though.

Interested in the Bestbuy Release?
I wouldn't mind purchasing a couple more for some of the group from here in Canada.

If you don't mind incurring the entire cost + shipping + a little extra for gas, time and trouble.

Let me know.

I'm tempted to purchase some extra and leave 1 or 2 sitting until it's OOP.
I know, I'm evil, at least I'm being honest.

I mean the Version with the HELMET, I guess even the steelbook if you want.

_______________

i'm intrested in a steelbook, pm me, i use heatware as well

I presume the Canadian one will have a bilingual cover?

That would be a good assumption.

Question for Xage, is that steelbook with artwork booklet R3 version? will the booklet fit inside the case? I'm asking because i ordered the R3 steelbook with artwork and it would seem a bit odd if they made the book slightly too big to fit in the case!

Where is everyone ordering the steelbook from? My usual route (CD-Wow) seems to be having trouble delivering stuff lately (see the Store Forum). What other options are out there?

You can pre-order R4 steelbook on EzyDVD, or a Korean one on Yesasia, for example.

I pre-ordered through cdwow, but as i have another order they keep delaying despatching, i went and ordered another copy through Yesasia.com. Still have'nt cancelled my cdwow order, (prob wait till release date to see what happens). If they both arrive i'll just sell one to my brother! Yesasia link.

So just to clear this up, because there seems to be confusion:

++ As of now, there has been No Official Confirmation, of either a Helmet or Steelbook edition in the US, from Best Buy or elsewhere. ++

Please dispute this statement if I am wrong.

Does anyone remember if Best Buy had their V mask box set available for pre-order a month before the street date? I think they did, so this 300 one seems far from a certainty at this point.

Thanks for the link! I used Yesasia once in the past and completely forgot they existed. I'm definately gonna pick it up from there.

I'm pretty sure one website stated that the helmet set would be a BB exclusive. I dont remember the site, though. I would bet on it being in the U.S., though.

EDIT: here's a pic, sticker on the set says "BB exclusive." I doubt it is only BB in Canada.

You would think so, but then why isn't it on BestBuy.com as well?

I guess we'll find out soon enough when the Sunday ad from that week turns up.

didn't read anyone confirm it yet...

american best buy stores WILL be getting the 300 helmet pack!

i checked at my best buy today. it is in the system, has its own unique sku and specifically lists it as a dvd + helmet pack. don't remember the exact wording, but it was there and showed the store had 47 on order. price, if i remember correctly, was at 34.99, though i don't know if there will be first-week discounted sales price.

also, my best buy had a sign outside the store showing that the helmet pack will ALSO be available at comic-con! there will be a limited number available there prior to release date, so if you're going, you have a chance to get it early!

Where at Comic-Con? Does Best Buy have their own booth? Maybe the Warner Bros. booth?

that it did not say... or at least i didn't notice. i will check again when i go back. has best buy ever had their own booth? sadly, i've never been to comic-con, so i dunno. if they did, i assume it would be there since it's an exclusive and they're probably trying to promote the store. but if it's mainly studios, then it would probably be with warner bros.

no info on the steelbook in the system. although it might be a possibility. when best buy had the limited edition "departed" steelbook, the regular amary 2-disc and the LE steelbook had the same SKU. there was no way of differentiating between the two in the system. that might be the case if there is a 300 steelbook. was the steelbook available from bestbuy.ca though? if so, there is a higher likelihood it will also be at the bbys in the usa... but i'll see if i can find out. otherwise, we'll probably just have to wait until monday when speedy usually posts the bby ads.
