Also note that you won’t need to fully upgrade staff members. Level 15/16 should suffice for a maximum. If you encounter problems then continue upgrading beyond that. There are also optimum builds, so some people are better making food, some out front.

Do you have Kyoko? She should be able to serve drinks from the start.

Not yet. The four I'm using are Raul, Carline, Pai, and Jandi. The original girl you hire isn't being used atm. All 5 are level 2.

Switch back to Kyoto if she was your original. She should be the original one you hired and she can fill drink orders. You can also send anyone not working to get ingredients for dishes. It's under dispatch.

Raul should be able to serve drinks if you're using him as a server and not a cook.

This game sounds like it has a lot of micro-management. Is that the case? I still haven't bought it.

It's not that hard. You just have four staff members to manage at the restaurant, there's also a plant farm, and a fish farm.

Yeah if they're not working in the restaurant you can dispatch them to get ingredients. Also you can use auto supply on menu items to minimize waste.

I used to do the restaurant on autopilot but now I keep track of what’s about to sell out and replace it with other expensive stuff.

I need to find a good mix of upgrading dishes versus keeping enough fish to make more than 1-2 of each type. Swapping out dishes mid service is a pain.

I generally just load up on fishes for expensive dishes during my dives. I usually only have maybe four different menu items at a time.

You don't fill the menu with dishes in every slot?

No. I just do about 4 or 5 high priced dishes on auto supply. You can only sell a certain number while the restaurant is open anyways.

Maybe I've been managing it incorrectly. What do you mean by auto supply? Is it something different than selecting the quantity of a dish you select before opening?

I need to get back to it. The routine of diving and running the sushi place got a bit stale after a while. Maybe I'll start it back up after I finish Unicorn Overlord this week.
