Bionic Woman poised to return to TV

This is probably the one fall show that is a "must see" for me. I'm not bothered at all by Washington being on the show. He's only scheduled to be on it for 5 episodes. Yeah, he's a jackass, but he's a good actor and I think whatever the writing staff chooses to do with him will only help the show.

Kick ass pilot should be sweet, great casting choices. I really liked it. Can't wait for more. It reminds me of Alias with special powers or something.

I agree on the Alias vibe. The pilot ep was actually pretty good. Good acting, especially from Sackhoff. Just hope it becomes an arc based show and not a freak of the week type show.

I enjoyed the pilot episode (and not too sad that the sister got recasted). It does have that "Alias on steroids" feel to it, but in a good way. I like that Jamie isn't a pushover, and has her own point of view in how her new abilities will be used.

I thought the pilot was pretty good. The Bad Bionic Woman vs. The Good Bionic Woman is going to get old.
I see the boyfriend is only a recurring character.

Are they gonna have the new Jamie Sommers "squeeze" a tennis ball till it pops. I always loved that shot from the original show and Lindsay Wagner running in slow mo with her beautiful hair blowing in the wind

I just watched it the other night and IMO they crammed alot into 45 minutes. I think the pilot would have been better served being 90 minutes or 2 hours.
One issue I had was:
Overall, I enjoyed it and will definitely be tuning in. I'm curious to see how the scene transitions go with the re-shoots with Jamie's new sister.

Did the pilot air already? When is this show scheduled to air regularly?

I believe Wednesday's at 9pm opposite Private Practice and Criminal Minds. It's got a huge hurdle ahead for it.

I enjoyed the pilot a lot. I'm disappointed they re-cast Egg and it's strange that she might not be deaf anymore. That had possibilities as an interesting dynamic ("super" sister vs. "crippled" sister) but oh well.
The one thing they need to fix is the "fast running" effect. That shot through the trees was downright embarassing.

This was better than I expected. I'll echo the egg sentiments (though, I kept wondering "where have I seen this chick before??!?!" everytime she was on the screen). I also couldn't believe Jamie's nemesis was the same chick that is/was? on Battlestar Galactica. She looked really hot here.

I also enjoyed this better than Sarah Connor and Reaper. There was a lot more backstory and intrigue that was laid out in the pilot to keep me interested in finding out the mystery behind the bionic project. And Katee Sackoff is hot.

Katee Sackhoff will be working on Bionic Woman and BSG simultaneously since both are shot in Canada and produced by NBC/Universal. I believe her role in Bionic will be recurring.
