It comes with a door for the center shelf that has a speaker mesh cover, but I decided to leave it off.

Well, my wife and I have finally begun to settle into our new home in Texas (we moved from Nashville). And of course, the first order of business was to set up the new “Theater room.” (You’ve got to have priorities, after all!)
We already had the TV, A/V equipment (including speakers), and entertainment center. It was all in more of a “Den” setting in our old home, but this house has two living areas, and we realized one room was well suited for a dedicated theater room. Although, for all practical purposes, it is our “Living Room,” since we spend most of our time there!
New items included the carpet, popcorn machine, theater seating, posters & frames, and few other things to decorate the room. My Dad-in-law helped to paint the room, and my Mom-in-law made the curtains (for covering the windows).
I installed the accent lighting & dimmers, and also sanded, stained, and painted the round table and stools (which was furniture from our previous home). I also had to drop a cable run for the TV and speaker wire for the surround speakers. The autographed pics were previously hanging in the office of our old house, and we decided they would now be well suited to go into the theater room.
Anyway, enjoy the pics!

Actually, the DVDs are in the entertainment center (though pretty soon, I'm going to have to deal with overflow!).
Here's a pic of the same entertainment center in my old home, showing some of the DVDs on one side:
