The Too Human demo was very disappointing.

The gun controls sucked really hard. The sword play was the only way to kill bad guys but the game was too slow and not enough moves. The camera angles caused me to die...a number of times.

Overall, they had a better chance of me buying the game without the demo. Now I know it's not even worth a rental.

Damn, I guess I'm the only one who's even more jazzed about the game now! I thought the demo was a blast. Perhaps I need to play it again tonight to see if I was off my rocker.

I'm with you, L&O. The demo moved me from "I'll pick it up eventually" to "I'll pick it up on release."

The demo reminded me a little of Diablo-style character building with a cross between Diablo and Ninety-Nine Nights gameplay (but I only played the demo of N3, so I may be wrong here).

Yeah, I fired it up again last night. Still was fun to me! And I managed to throw some sort of combo in there with a wolf howl, but didn;t know how

There's advanced button combo instructions somewhere in there.

Thanks for the heads up on the Dark Knight Theme. Is there a way to change what picture is on what blade?

Also, I just watched a video demonstration for Halo Wars and I'm really looking forward to that now. I love the RTS genre, and I think it can work on the console, but it just hasn't yet. Or at least not in the games I've tried, but Halo Wars looks like it's going to be pretty good.

I'm not sure but something tells me you can only have one custom pic for all blades unless you're using one of the Themes they put out.

i.e. The Dark Knight has a different background pic for each blade.

But I could be wrong.

Bargain alert:
TRU is selling Virtua Fighter 5 Online for $19.99, half what anyone else is selling it for. It's not on clearance (unfortunate, because there's an additional 20% off right now); perhaps it's a universal price drop that isn't reflected anywhere else yet. Anyway, it's a heck of a deal. Think I'll pick up a fighting stick as well.
