Finally got around to watching this episode, enjoyed it very much.

Don't really get the complaints about the lack of a payoff, did people have the same complaints about Quantum Leap when Al would just tell Sam how this person's life was made better? I guess I just don't need or expect epic and sweeping changes in the past, he's just there to change one person's life.

McKidd has done some solid work in this show. I'm also enjoying Moon Bloodgood as Dan's voice of reason/traveling partner.

Gretchen Egolf is pretty good as the wife. I remember her as Sammo Hung's captain in the 2nd season of Martial Law and I honestly didn't like her back then.
