I hav e yet to see any Wii's In the wild. But I got lucky with the wii-mote, when I got My second one (not the one I got today for my dad) there were 4 on the shelf at Wal-Mart. I did finally get a classic which I haven't seen for a while.

Which is funny, because classics have been the only thing I have seen! I bought a classic about a week ago without a problem.

I walked into my local Target this afternoon, and they had 3 left. The guy said they got about 40 in. This was around 1pm, so I was happy there were still some there. I grabbed a copy of Zelda on my way out. We like it so far. A real bitch to get the wireless connection set up, just like the DS was

I snagged a Wii from Circuit City last week for my cousin. My sister got on from Target Sunday in Deklab, IL.

I gave her the heads up on Target advertising them and she was first in line when they handed out the tickets (they got fifteen and all were spoken for by the time they opened).

When they opened the doors, a couple of people ran in ahead of her, but she didn't care....until she got the Wii and discovered they only got 2 sets of Wiimotes and nunchucks...and the the two that ran in got'em!!!

Were people still lining up hours before store openings for the 360 at this time last year? This is just crazy!

I don't remember it being this bad for the 360. I scored mine in February of 05 by just walking in the store ad getting it. I do remember there not being tons of them on the shelf but you certainly could get one by stopping in at a few local stores.

No Wiis were left by the time I got out to shop on Sunday. Target and Best Buy were both out. I was tempted to get one, but not enough to go through any hassle. When I can just walk in a store in the afternoon and get one maybe. BTW, PS3s were sold out as well so there are still people out there buying this stuff.

I just saw my order from CC shipped on the 9th. Estimated delivery by Fed Ex is the 16th. Then I look at the shipping address - my middle initial and last name are fused together and they left my apt number off. I checked "same as billing address" which they got correct.

Went yesterday for my third Wii campout. I got mine at launch, and have hit two subsequent restocks with friends who were trying to acquire a Wii. I've been successful on all 3 trips, making me 3 for 3....

Yesterday's trip was to Target, where they handed out tickets for the 2o systems they had. We didn't really have to wait in line, as the demand has died down... but it's still there. I'd guess you could have gotten one here with about 30 minutes of waiting before open.

It seemed odd to me that they were also giving out tickets for DS Lites... are these a rare commodity these days? I must have missed that memo.

The thing with DS Lites is they aren't hard to get per se, but they do sell out, so when they have them they'll give out vouchers as with most items that have a habit of selling out.

I see them everywhere... then the next day they're all gone, it's really kind of odd.

They'd been sold out since X-mas at most places until the past week or two.

Got my wiiplay at WalMart (in Pleasanton), they had a full box but were selling fast. BestBuy in Dublin didn't get any in so I couldn't use my giftcard
Going to get Wario Ware with the GC now I think.

I saw 3 Wii's at Target today. 2 were gone in 5 minutes, there was 1 in the case when I left.

One dozen Wiis were at the local 1604&281 Wal-mart around 10:45am. They were just putting them out when I got there and only 5 were left by the time I checked out.

As I posted in the other thread, I saw around 20 Wii's today between 3 different stores.

When is the next rumored re-stock of Wii's suppose to hit retail?

Circuit City has them in the ad for this sunday, minimum 10 per store. Best Buy and Target do not. As per Speedy's ad threads in the bargain forum.

Though not in the Ad, there's a thread at CAG with a couple of people confirming that Best Buy will have a lot of Wiis tomorrow.

Target has them in the ad for next Sunday (3/4) as per Speedy's ad thread.

I got mine online from Best Buy in March. I had not seen one in a store up to that point. It was very hit or miss.

Just got a text that the local Targets once again have Wiis in stock - I'm assuming that's for this weekend.

And for the first time, I'll actually be able to try to get one. I think I'll head out and take my chances.

Shouldn't be too bad this weekend. The past couple of times some places have even had some left for an hour or two after opening (of course other places sold out at opening and had the line past the number of consoles an hour before opening so YMMV).
