my tv dvd player plays both divx and xdiv avis.

so if I upgrade to a dvd player/recorder with a harddrive ,will this play avi videos
? or only if the manual says so ? 90% of retailers would not...

Here in Autsralia we are still paying $14 each for one quality re-writable DVD.

I guess they still make CD700mg by the million per day. If they concentrated
on making just as many DVD4.7meg...
