re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

I got a corrupted save after hitting the beach. I didn't need to redo too much because I had switched save slots right before getting to that area.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

The restore licenses option in settings isn't working? Have you tried rebuilding the database from safe mode?

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

Yesterday, I saw a post where a guy cut out some pieces from an anti-static bag and put them over the buttons.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

I saw some claims that the rubber foot under the PS4 can cause the ejecting. It touches the button from underneath. You might try pulling it off.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

PSN is being relaunched as a 3D experience. Real virtuality. Maybe.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

One suggestion that I saw was to turn off the setting to keep applications suspended. Since I only use rest when doing large downloads, I'll try that if I keep having problems.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

Mine got stuck once returning from sleep after installing the new HDD, the other two times it worked fine. I don't put mine into sleep very often, so I don't know if it'll continue to be a problem.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

If you send it in, you'll probably still have to download everything. I think it likely that they will either send you a refurbished unit or swap out the HDD. I doubt that they will attempt to...

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

Just be prepared in case the backup/restore fails. Everything is put into an archive rather than simply copied over. PS4 seems to do nothing to verify the integrity of the archive. You won't know if...

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

I haven't been on today, but I've seen reports of people getting booted off PSN. I saw other reports of people having difficulty making purchases yesterday, but I had no trouble yesterday other than...

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

Put in a 2TB HDD. Everything went great until I did the restore. Failed. There should be some way for the system to verify the backup beforehand.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

I've had my power go out while the PS4 was in rest mode. I get the message and it does the check, but I've never had any difficulty getting it to turn on.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

2TB. If you want a drive that will fit properly. Higher if you use the Nyko DataBank or run a cable to connect the drive from outside the PS4. More than 3TB seems to cause some problems.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

I'm happy to have my touchpad working again.

I had noticed some problems with the movement in Last of Us. Searching I'd found out that it was a problem in the stick. I took the DS4 apart and...

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

And Sony sent me a helpful notification to let me know that I would no longer be able to download PT if I had deleted it. Well...it would have been helpful if they'd let me know that before it was...

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

It seems that Konami may have pulled PT down completely. I'm seeing reports that it is unavailable in the US. I tried it from my library and the download failed.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

If it's valid, it should tell you what it's for and then give you the option to confirm. I'd think that if you just closed it out at that point, the code would still be good.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

My guess is that his account had your PS4 listed as primary. Now it doesn't. If he started using a different PS4, that is probably the primary now. There can be only one primary. You may have to wait...

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

Sony should increase security. I keep checking every so often, to see if they've added two-factor yet. Microsoft uses their own app, which is very easy to set up and use. Though MS still insists on...

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

I'll be trying Bloodborne this month. If it sucks, I'll blame Disco Stu and tap him triple hard in Tapped Out. I never got around to playing the Souls games. I think the last From game that I played...

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

I respect Nintendo quality, and right now I have more games for my U than for my One. But I didn't grow up with Nintendo, I have no kids, I do no local multiplayer, and I like stories in my games. I...

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

If you put your profile on her PS4 and make it your primary system, she should be able to use your stuff while she is logged in. The downside is that you will always need to be logged in on your PS4....

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

Were the ones that didn't work iPad chargers? From what I've read, the rapid chargers for Apple devices are slightly different than for other devices. Other devices that can see that the rapid...
