I had zero issues with any of the boss battles other then the usual dying the first time while you're figuring out what you're supposed to do.

Just finished the game. Really fun all the way through and doesn't out stay its welcome. My only annoyance was it does the thing where if you die in a boss battle it sends you to before the boss...

I played about 2 hours and it's fantastic. Love the Virtual Boy references and Nintendo making fun of themselves.
