I have more faith in the Renny Harlin version suddenly being reevaluated as a unheralded masterpiece than I do DGG ever making a good genre film.

Never thought I’d say this but David Gordon Green directing an Exorcist movie is about as promising as Rob Zombie directing one at this point.

William Friedkin is awesome. I wish he was still making movies. Bug and Killer Joe were fantastic.

Green is very hit or miss as a director. George Washington, All the Real Girls, Undertow and Joe are all fantastic films. Everything else is pretty average.

oh I agree. I'm not that interested in this. I just interpreted what he said about William Peter Blatty as "Blatty should be involved in this." Maybe I was wrong.

I wonder if this is going to continue in the tradition of their Halloween reboot and ignore all the sequels and bring back Linda Blair and Ellen Burstyn.
