Re: No Man's Sky (PS4, PC) (8/9/16)

It sounds like it's a bit buggy at the moment so I'm going to wait for a patch before I re install this. I played this after the last big update and was very into it for a good while. Most of this...

Re: No Man's Sky (PS4, PC) (8/9/16)

I started over from the beginning. The systems seem so different now that I don't know if I could've jumped back into an old save without having the new early game tutorials.

And I think I read...

Re: No Man's Sky (PS4, PC) (8/9/16)

I established a base on a planet with lots of good resources for farming, and built a teleporter, too, but I keep getting the message that the teleporter system is offline. My planet is pretty far...

Re: No Man's Sky (PS4, PC) (8/9/16)

I think saying anyone was "lied" to is a pretty big misrepresentation. It seems more like the developer got way too ahead of himself in interviews a d at shows, and promoted features that, at that...

Re: No Man's Sky (PS4, PC) (8/9/16)

This is annoying but I find if I leave the atmosphere and my speed increases, the time to your way point decreases as it should.

Re: No Man's Sky (PS4, PC) (8/9/16)

So how do you know if you're following the Atlas story line? At my first ships wreck, I interacted with the red ball which mentioned the Atlas, but in the subsequent 20 hours or so I haven't...

Re: No Man's Sky (PS4, PC) (8/9/16)

Well this is fun. I switch back over to the PS4 version, and it's already crashed twice within the first five minutes. This game's kind of a mess.

Re: No Man's Sky (PS4, PC) (8/9/16)

Honestly, not nearly as bad as PS4, but it ain't great either. It's not like you'll be spotting outposts in the far off horizon. You'll still be pretty much on top of things before they pop in.

Re: No Man's Sky (PS4, PC) (8/9/16)

I played maybe 4 hours or so yesterday and so far I'm very pleased. I feel like I spent waaay too much time on my starting planet, gathering, using, and regathering resources, and traveling to the...

Re: No Man's Sky (PS4, PC) (8/9/16)

I'm actually happy the game leaked, in the end. It admittedly tempered my expectations a bit, and that's a good thing. I've been burned by buying into too much hype (my fault) over the last couple...

Re: No Man's Sky (PS4, PC) (8/9/16)

Graphically, the only thing that has bugged me from the get go has been the draw distance. In just about every video it's been pretty bad. Otherwise I think it looks just fine.

Re: No Man's Sky (PS4, PC) (8/9/16)

The exploration/discovery aspect of this game is what is really exciting to me. I want to be able to come home from work and just explore a planet, or farm for resources to upgrade my ship so I can...
