Finished up the main story tonight, pretty good stuff. Just a bit over 100 hours into it so far.

I forgot, but Googling I see it's called The Tower Stone...directly west of the College of Winterhold. You might only be able to open 1 expert lock a day with it though, which wouldn't make it nearly...

There's also a magic stone thingy way to the north on a mountain that lets you automatically open up to expert locks.

I have smithing, alchemy, and enchanting at 100. You want powerful equipment and more money than you can spend, max those out. :lol:

Yeah, from what I understand that's exactly what it means.

It seems dragons are much tougher in general after the update, as well.

None of the "resistance" stuff works anymore.

Dragons flying backwards, getting stuck in mountains, and doing other weird things.

Lots of other random glitches/bugs (some that make the game...

Lost my last 20 or so manual saves somehow, I'm assuming it's the new patch. Auto saves are still there fortunately.

Wish I wouldn't have updated to the new patch...no problems yet, but I wasn't having any with the old version...from what I've read, I'd suggest not accepting the update and playing offline until...

As I said I don't put anything into smithing...do you guys think I should be? I'm playing a sneak/archer type and then when I'm spotted I use one-handed with a bit of destruction (and restoration)....

What's the best light armor set that can be found/purchased/rewarded? I'm not putting anything into smithing, so making my own isn't really an option...

How the hell can I pickpocket gold? I'm only level ~25 pickpocket, but it's always 0% chance. :(

Yeah, 5000 is a lot of change, at least in the early parts of the game. I wasn't about to drop that much so early on.

I was about 30 hours in, and decided to start over with a new character yesterday. That will probably only happen about 5 more times in the next few weeks. :lol:

If you continually choose not to level up (but your skills have been increasing), will enemies remain at lower levels too?
