Not sure, maybe games are still being stolen somehow? Retail stores are pretty good about monitoring theft though, I find it hard to believe that pretty much all retail stores have spent money on...

They have data on which products are stolen the most. It's not really a surprise that video games are a bigger target then the other stuff you mentioned.

Yeah, I don't really see how the new design is worse then the previous.

Usually they don't, but if you're interested in any of the games listed it's worth checking out. The Target I went to had a ton of these games out when I was there last week.

Yeah, I got Lego Batman from the clearence pile a couple weeks ago. I'ts gotten cheaper since, but oh well :(
