Noah just caught me off guard because his delivery of that line was actually funny. Stewart always did an impression of McConnell as a turtle.

I'm not as enthusiastic about Noah as I was. Stewart, though I didn't find him very funny, had a bitterly caustic tone that is sorely missed. Noah is milder.

I finally watched the first - now passé - episode on the PVR, and I found Noah quite bland. Not naturally funny at all. I think someone like Al Madrigal might have made a much better host. ...
