It fails because Gabriel sounds uninterested, the orchestrations are bland, and there's not a lick of excitement anywhere. Why even bother to record someone else's songs, which should be fun, and...

Does that mean they're in real plastic CD cases, or still the same shitty cardboard ones? Because I'd almost consider buying them again if it meant real cases.
