All of those are big movies that would have done well with or without 3D (except maybe Dragon...never heard of it). Avatar did well so everyone is hopping on the bandwagon. Once they start releasing...

Doesn't that mean it was a gimmick if they tried and failed in the 50's and 80's? But the third time they are being serious about it?

Insignia is $100 right now I think and it's essentially a LG/Samsung mix of player and does Netflix.

To go Blu-ray you simply need a Blu-ray player. And unless you need it to make you dinner and walk your dog, they can be had for $100 or less. Hell, be picky and say a name brand and...
