Re: A LOT of my HD-DVDs are defective!

I donate a lot to my local library and they do not know what they are let alone want any. I'm just throwing them out as I replace them with 4K's or BR. I am taking my time so it will be quite some...

Re: A LOT of my HD-DVDs are defective!

I'm in no rush but I am slowly replacing some of my HD DVD's as new ones come out. The big problem is that there are definitely some movies I don't mind owning but there is no way they are worth a...

Re: A LOT of my HD-DVDs are defective!

Re: A LOT of my HD-DVDs are defective!

I still have just one with a problem. I have a copy of Accepted, there is one glitch towards the end where it freezes. No visible scratches and I've cleaned it to the best of my ability. Still not...

Re: A LOT of my HD-DVDs are defective!

Out of 79 titles I have one; Accepted, that freezes at one spot in the movie.

I've only upgraded a couple titles from HD to Blu. In both cases the HD is fine but Batman Begins was a BF deal for...

Re: A LOT of my HD-DVDs are defective!

I'm going to knock on wood right now but I'll have to check those titles again

Re: A LOT of my HD-DVDs are defective!

I don't know why you're having so many problems. I have a copy of Viva Las vegas I bought when Blockbuster was blowing them out. When it showed up I almost returned it. Even though it was cheap it...

Re: A LOT of my HD-DVDs are defective!

My first A-35 was replaced under warranty because of playback problems but the replacement has been fine. (knock on wood)

I also have an A-3 that hasn't given me any problems. I have one disc i...

Re: A LOT of my HD-DVDs are defective!

I have that same problem with some of my Blu-rays, the picture will freeze but the timer keeps going. I did have to replace one of my A35's which was defective but for the most part my HD DVD's have...
