Re: Assassin's Creed V (Unity? 18th-Century Paris) -- Fall 2014; Two Games Possible

But someone stole my face
I just fell below the Louvre

Re: Assassin's Creed V (Unity? 18th-Century Paris) -- Fall 2014; Two Games Possible

Do they ever do lightning deals for brand-new games that aren't on sale somewhere else at some time during the Black Friday weekend? I don't recall any.

There's no BF sale on this game, FYI.

Re: Assassin's Creed V (Unity? 18th-Century Paris) -- Fall 2014; Two Games Possible

I think they should have English "French" accents.

Re: Assassin's Creed V (Unity? 18th-Century Paris) -- Fall 2014; Two Games Possible

Yup, I'm not picking it up -- at least not now. Will use the $$ for LBP3 instead. Got a shit-ton of other games to play right now and I can certainly wait/rent/pass on this.

Re: Assassin's Creed V (Unity? 18th-Century Paris) -- Fall 2014; Two Games Possible

Bringing out the pitchforks is a very thematically appropriate response for this game.

Re: Assassin's Creed V (Unity? 18th-Century Paris) -- Fall 2014; Two Games Possible

Disappointing Joystiq review. Might just go the rental route instead and put this cash towards DA Inquisition instead. Nice thing there is I can play for 6 hrs this weekend courtesy of EA Access,...

Re: Assassin's Creed V (Unity? 18th-Century Paris) -- Fall 2014; Two Games Possible

I thought so to. Once the game is being sold in stores, it should be fair game.

Re: Assassin's Creed V (Unity? 18th-Century Paris) -- Fall 2014; Two Games Possible

That sucks to hear. I was looking forward to playing some with you since my best friend was leaning towards Far Cry 4 instead of this.

Review embargo until 12:00 PM ET for Unity. No review copy...

Re: Assassin's Creed V (Unity? 18th-Century Paris) -- Fall 2014; Two Games Possible

Yes, that used to be the case, but this generation it hasn't been. Black Flag, Watch_Dogs, Rayman Legends - none of them have dropped cheap yet on the new systems. I ended up getting black flag...

Re: Assassin's Creed V (Unity? 18th-Century Paris) -- Fall 2014; Two Games Possible

I do wonder why the same company decided to release two huge open world action games a mere seven days apart. Research must show this is where by far the most games are sold regardless of market...

Re: Assassin's Creed V (Unity? 18th-Century Paris) -- Fall 2014; Two Games Possible

Ryse looked amazing in 900p. It sucked, but it looked amazing. I've got no problems with 900p/30 FPS if that's what it takes to have hundreds of Parisians on the streets at once.

Re: Assassin's Creed V (Unity? 18th-Century Paris) -- Fall 2014; Two Games Possible

Oh yeah, Far Cry 3 had some sort of co-op but they were stupid hard missions, separate from the main story. My friend and I tried them, but we quickly gave up because it was constant brutal failure...

Re: Assassin's Creed V (Unity? 18th-Century Paris) -- Fall 2014; Two Games Possible

I still want it for online co-op play. Far Cry 4 doesn't have that, does it?

Re: Assassin's Creed V (Unity? 18th-Century Paris) -- Fall 2014; Two Games Possible

It kind of makes you wonder how great an Assassin's Creed game Ubisoft could potentially make if they made say, one new game every two years instead of two new games every year.
