Use it directly thru new samsung unc7000 TV instead of thru a Bluray. To connect to receiver I use the optical cable out to receiver besides the HDMI cable

So if I understand this right and concerned about monthly fees and not one time cost.
My best bet is to just get a DVR or maybe a DVD player with a HDD and another cable box to go before it...
