I don't mind the 1.78:1 or 1.85:1. I just can't watch 2.35:1 on a 27' TV. It's just a narrow strip, too difficult to watch. On a big screen, I'm sure it's awesome.

Won't buy a 2.35 to 1 widescreen version, ever. If they stop making full screen, I will no longer buy DVD's. I'll just get a DVD recorder and record the movies off of TV (PPV, HBO, etc).

I don't want my game system to record or play DVD's, that's what a DVD player/recorder is for. I just want it to play good quality games. That's what my gamecube does.
