Look at Target speaker stands...although very expensive.

A cheaper alternative would be Sanus (www.sanus.com)

I would use some poster gum or some stuff called BluTak between the speaker and...

I love the system...

I will have to say: If cost is a consideration please use cinder blocks as your speaker stands rather than cardboard boxes and slap on some BluTak on top of the cinder block...

I have the Sima CopyMaster and the SCC and to be honest with you I haven't come across a DVD that the cheaper CopyMaster hasn't been able to copy.

As far as looks go, the SCC wins hands down... ...

Check the Ohms of the speakers and the Ohms of the receiver... Most receivers list off a generic 8 Ohm rating, but if your speakers are difficult to drive and frequently require 4 and sometimes 2...
