And I still have a bunch of outstanding S/H bills with BMG. So now I don't have to pay those; I certainly won't.

No, never.

It's usually much cheaper to buy CDs from Amazon Marketplace and Half.com.

The only way BMG can beat the prices at those sites is when BMG charges only shipping and handling for CDs...
