One and Only Final Debate thread!

Prediction-

Both will bring more of the same tired rhetoric.

Bush will call Kerry a liberal at lest 20 times.

Kerry- I am not sure what he will do. I would guess he will push that he has new ideas while saying everything that is wrong is all Bush's fault.

I think this my be tougher for Kerry because if he is just more of the same we already saw that in the last two debates. He needs to try and connect better.

I think Bush would be better off talking about new plans he might have (like he did out of the convention). But it seems that his people would rather try and get Kerry on the defensive.

In the end it will be a tie.

Kerry will use the phrase "...but I have a plan..." at least 25 times.

Other than that, I agree with your assessment.

I predict I'm not watching this one, because my TV will be on the Red Sox/Yankees game .

a) Bush will win his second debate in a row
b) the CNN non-scientific poll will show Kerry won 99.44% to 0.56% +/- 1.5%

Kerry will finally admit to being a 'realistic liberal'.

Bush will continue to say that America is safer.

Same-sex marriage will not be discussed.

Bush will say : blah blah blah
Kerry will say: yadda yadda yadda

and then they will both declare victory!

True here as well, although I'll miss my prediction of John Kerry wishing his new favorite Sox player, "Peedro Schelling," the best of luck in tomorrow's game.

Too much. I should have never solicited invitation turn-downs.

Format should be back to the first style. Topics are supposed to be domestic only.

Bush will give an impassioned defense for invading Iraq after being asked why so many jobs have been lost on his watch. No matter how poorly he does, Republicans will proclaim him to be the winner.

The real question is, will it be possible to discuss domestic issues for 90 minutes without mentioning Iraq?

I anticipate a record-low in 'debate' viewership. The east coast will be mesmerized by Yanks-Sox and the midwest/Plains is Cardinal country.

Speaking of the Cardinals, what will c-man watch tonight? This has to be quite a pickle for him.

You can only watch presidential debates every 4 years. You can watch the Red Sox piss away another season any time you want.

Easy choice.

For me it is. I have a sizeable backlog of shows sitting in my DVRs so I'll be watching those with the Yanks/Sox on the second TV.
