Need help identifying this toy/stuffed nightmare

We're trying to find some info on this stuffed toy. This thing belonged to my wife's aunt who passed away two years ago. It was given to her by her brother who died 20+ years ago. I informed my wife that this is what nightmares are made out of, but she still wants one. I'm guessing late 70s or early 80s. The third pic is the only thing my wife found online after scouring Google. Has anyone seen anything like this before?

That is creepy; it looks like a merkin with limbs.

I told her that if she did find one, it's not staying in the bedroom.

The bracelet it's wearing says I'm Widget.

Never seen anything like it. Like the description says it's probably handmade. My ex-wife used to make stuffed dolls and would sell them or give as gifts.

So basically everyone who gets this thing dies? And now your wife wants it???

I didn't see it, but isn't this what that Badonkadonk movie was about?

Is that one of those dolls where you lift up the beard to find a penis?

The blue one has a place in the feet to put batteries in, but I'm kind of afraid to do that.

Crap. I used to know what that blue one was, but can't put my finger on it.

The two dolls seem too close to be a coincidence. I assumed it would be something along the lines of cabbage patch dolls where no two were identical.

Wait until she finds out Barbie has an NRA membership. Then we'll see how strong their friendship is.
