Chicken salad is made with chicken.
Chick'n salad is their vegan version.
How soon until the first lawsuit and how much will the plaintiff seek in damages?

I bet the vegetarians who accidentally bought and ate the real chicken salad couldn't believe how good their fake chicken salad tasted.

And they subsequently posted pictures of their half-eaten salad to Instagram whilst recommending Whole Foods to all their friends on Path.

On a related note, Whole Foods now carries retail packs of the Beyond Meat brand fake chicken that is supposed to be just like the real think. I bought some last night but I haven't tried it yet. Gonna make it with some pasta tonight and see how it tastes.

Oh, good, more moronic bashing of vegetarianism.

I didn't mean to come across as bashing vegans. I'm just expecting some major douchebag to try to sue for millions because one day they may have accidentally eaten meat.

Whole Foods Accidentally Tricks Vegans Into Eating Like Humans Have For 200,000 Years
(THE GIST) — Whole Foods Inc. said Thursday that labels on a chicken salad and those on a vegan version were accidentally reversed at some of its cold food bars in the Northeast, prompting an unknown number of vegans to inadvertently eat in manner that has sustained mankind since the end of the Paleolithic era.
The mislabeled salads were sold in 15 stores in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York, and the company said no illnesses stemming from a mix of meat, bread, dairy and vegetables upon which humans have relied on for sustenance the past 200,000 years have been reported.

I'd take issue with not getting what was advertised and paid for. I don't think it's worth millions, but it's worth an apology at the very least. Probably some asshole working there that thought it would be a great joke. Believe it or not, some people have serious allergic reactions to egg products. It's actually kind of a big deal, but then again, this is otter.....

Never mind, I'm a bit slow today, thought the quoted link was the linked article from the OP.

Didn't that happen with McDonalds over something? Then again, McDonalds gets sued for anything and eveything.

My fiancee used to lover their fries until she found that out, proving to me she still likes the taste of meat.
