That said, I like them.

To me, thin mints taste good, plus they seem more densely packed than the other cookies (plus they're smaller) and seem like a better "deal." Of course, when you're paying 4 bucks for a box of cookies already, that's probably just a small consideration.

Yeah, it seems better when they're densely packed. Many of the other ones come in trays so it seems psychologically like they're "cheating" you out of the right amount, but it's probably so they don't get smashed.

Just to let you know what kind of volume is involved, my daughter's troop of 12 Daisies has sold 2800 boxes. That's an average of 233 boxes per kid and they haven't even done the storefront sale yet. THe vast majority is people taking a cute picture of their daughter to work and passing it around the office with the order form. So if they sell 3000 boxes, that's $12,000 for the GSA. The troop gets about 30%.

I heard that Thin Mints sell more boxes in the three months per year that they sell, than Oreo sells in a whole year.
Anyway, we have no shortage around here. EVERY grocery store, one of my neighbors, multiple family friends, etc... I've done hit my quota of scout cookies this year!
My favorites are the Thanks A Lots!

I just got back from the grocery store, and picked up some cookies. Felt like a dick when they gave me $6 in change and I had to correct them for the proper $16. But hey, I got the stuff now.
Unfortunately there were no Shout Outs, which was on my list.
