I don't buy cookies often but 90% of the time when I do it is Oreos. With a glass of milk. Damn near perfect!

My favorite to buy? You mean, as opposed to rent?

Chocolate chip, in a soft form (such as Soft Batch). I'm not really picky about a particular brand. I haven't actually had cookies in a while, and now I want some.

Re: What's your favorite cookie to buy?

Unfortunately they're not sold anywhere around me anymore, but these are the best. They beat the other soft cookies hands down. Tons more chips and texture.

The ones I most often buy are Oreo Double Stuf when they're on sale, or the Aldi brand of soft chocolate chip cookies.

Oreos would be #1. I also like chocolate chips cookies from the ShopRite bakery.

Snicker Doodles are my favorite "real" cookie, but Circus Animals and Oreo's are my favorite name brand cookie.

Nutter Butter Peanut Creme Patties. These are NOT the same as the Nutter Butter sandwich cookies--they are like sugar wafers only with peanut butter.

Re: What's your favorite cookie to buy?

I really like the fudge cookies that come in the Mother's Cookies mixed assortment.

Or chocolate chip w/walnuts from Cookie Corner. The big cookie, not the little ones they sell in a cup.

Oh definitely Matt's. One of the few brands out there without HFCS.

I'd like to change my vote to the Snicker doodle or sugar cookies sold at Disneyland

Actually, my favorite are homemade. I make an excellent oatmeal cookie, but homemade sugar cookies are the best.

Re: What's your favorite cookie to buy?

I usually prefer crunchy cookies to the really soft ones, though a chewy combination is good too. Lately I've been loving these, since they' primarily only made during the Fall and they're a local brand:

Really, really crunchy and they have a nice strong flavor "bite" to them.

I also loved Hydrox when the still made them , but Oreos are decent too.
