Yikes. Since Loose Change was embarrassing on just about every point they made I don't have much hope for this film. But I'll give it a chance once I find some free time to watch it.

The only thing of use having that DVD would be wiping Alex Jones ass with it.

Like Loose Change, I'm just going to wait for the 8th version to come out. I figure the first 7th theories will be easily debunked by anybody with a brain.

I think this was the criticism directed at Bush.

Re: Invisible Empire, Documentary by the Director of Loose Change

I'm fifteen minutes in. I like free-thinking ideas. But I still firmly believe that people with overactive imaginations (the filmmakers) are just out of touch, and forget that people are just attempting to do the right thing, as they understand it, and aren't consciously trying to create a singular voice.

People may think that Bush was a fuckup (along with never, ever being happy with anyone in office, never). But those people don't realize that they're just humans, in a powerful (and collectively regulated by the people) position. Humans who articulate and discuss things too much are the ones who cause the world's problems. Whether it's those "two intellectual lovers" who are too vocal with their feelings and articulated thoughts, which always lead to a breakup - or "terrorists" (extremists, left, right, Islamic terrorists, whatever) who think they're going to solve the world's problems - they all share that concept of overthinking, overanalyzing, overacting, overarticulating, thus putting their time and effort and action into results that actively cause human misery.

They call it invisible, but ignore the fact that it's not there at all.

Watch it knowing it came from the Loose Change douche? "Hey, that guy who shits in hats bought you a new hat...wear it." No, thank you.

I thought that Loose Change had a few solid nuggets that were drowned out by too many theories that went too far which had the effect of undermining the credibility of those few elements.

I just finished watching "Invisible Empire"... conjecture and "conspiracy" are far less than in Loose Change. The makers seem to allow the video clips included tell the story.

Re: Invisible Empire, Documentary by the Director of Loose Change

Good point sracer, there is a whole lot of proof to back up the NWO ideology and corruption in the CIA/military industrial complex/federal government/UN. Some people would rather ignore it and accept big brother as their omnipotent protector. I for one do not want to see us go down the road european countries have. Our constitution and bill of rights are already being trampled on, a North American Union would eliminate them all together. For some reason the mindset is that the government gives rights, while the founding fathers said they were inherent.
