Please pray

Please pray for my co-worker Jackie. She is pregnant and just found out she has a brain tumor. This is a very sad time in her families life as well as everyone that cares about her. She needs all the prayer she can get! Thank you!

EDIT: If you do not pray, just please keep her in your thoughts.

+1, said one as well. I can't speak for the rest of the future of this thread, but I wish her and her family the best.

Must be a bad time for co-workers. The husband of one of the women here in my office died today. Some sort of lung trouble.

I wish her all the best, but I'm a firm believer that praying doesn't do shit.

Good luck to her, but she should be focusing more on the medical end than prayers.

Thank you for that, I completely agree.

OP, I said a prayer for your coworker when I read it right after you posted it. What a difficult time she and her family must be having.

That's not a threadcrap. I wish her a full recovery and a complication-free birth. To me, wishing is synonymous with praying. A prayer won't clear a brain tumor, a doctor will. If praying worked that well we wouldn't need medical experts.

Why don't you stop taking this thread on a tangent the OP probably doesn't want it to go. Create your own thread if you want to prove some point.

So why even add the second part in there? Did it help in any way? Or was it just so important for you to get in that statement so that no one have any confusion regarding your stance on prayer?

This thread isn't about your opinion on praying. The subject says "Please pray." If you don't pray, why even open the thread? Read what a thread crap is: http://forum.dvdtalk.com/showpost.ph...70&postcount=1

If you have any further questions, feel free to email an admin/mod.

Seriously, there's no need for a thread crap, especially in a thread like this. The topic was "Please Pray". You don't believe that prayer works, and yet you still clicked on the thread and crapped in it.

The husband of an instructor at my job was thought to have a cancerous brain tumor. Luckily, it turned out to be a benign abscess. But yeah, it seems like a rough time for a lot of folks I know.

My prayers are with the OP's co-worker. Prayer is another word for hope and I'm sure everyone hopes for the best in this case, regardless of belief system.

...in Jesus name, you've got it Double-Time, Jackie (& JWAR)!

It's a very cool thing to do starting a thread for a co-worker pal like this.
