If you're still stuck this is how I got past the diagonals:

On the way up I held the up arrow the entire time and tapped the horizontal arrow as the blue ball in the next space dropped past me, so I was basically always hugging the top of each section as much as possible. I reversed the process on the way down, holding the down arrow constantly and just tapping to the side. I died a few times getting the timing down, but it seemed to work pretty well overall.

I had to take a break at level 10. I just couldn't get te timing right for going around the corners. Awesome game though!

Beat the game with 555 deaths. Level 30 wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be. I had to consult youtube for the reversing spinning wheel because I couldn't figure out how to do it though.

I think the 'hardness' of the game is also attributed to a shitty hitTest() algorithm, but that's just me.

My fingers are not that coordinated (I made it to level 4 and gave up). That's probably why I suck at Call of Duty on the PC.
