Who's at work today?

Working all day today. It's pretty quiet overall.
I have to work Monday as well, but only 10AM - 3PM. The silly part is they have it scheduled so that I work 10-12 then take an hour lunch, and then work 1-3. I'd rather just work a straight 4 hours, but they say someone has to be here until 3:00 to support our Colorado region. Hmmph.

Here my normal hours, then off until Thursday next week! We got food actually (it's rare we get anything at all from the bosses here ever), and I've very little work, so it's a decent day thus far.

Working today... hopefully I can duck out early, but no mention of that yet. I'm off Monday and Tuesday, then back to work. I have to work New Years Eve though... not too happy about that one... I could have had a free room in Vegas for the whole weekend if the wife and I didn't have to work NYE.

Meanwhile, the 1st shift guy is freaking out because he's afraid he might have to work a double. SO they come to me to possibly cover, even though I don't have the correct logins anymore. Neither the 1st shift guy or the floater on 3rd shift wants to work a double shift, but they have no problem asking me to do it. Believe me, I love the OT, but I'm going to let them all sweat for a while.

I would really love to actually use some of my vacation time, since I have 220 hours at this point. Thing is the most senior tech here other than me is out from today until the 2nd, so if I leave as well then the tech support would really be hurting I think. My daughter's off though for her school vacation, so it would be nice to get some extra time to spend with her.

I work today, but the office is closed Monday and Tuesday for both Christmas and New Year's. I'm taking three days of vacation next week so this is my last day of work until after the New Year. The only bummer is that I don't get paid for New Year's Eve and only for a half day for New Year's Eve.
