Book lights

This seems the best place for the question, you know, since we read books, we probably use light to read them.

I'm staring at a Zelco "itty bitty" LED book light in my amazon cart, and thought I'd check here for any opinions/alternatives.

I'm basically looking for something that allows me to read without keeping the wife awake. Also, it needs AC power, b/c I'm gonna fall asleep with it on occasionally. I guess my biggest fear for the Zelco is that I'm gonna fall asleep and break it.

So, anyone use or in a similiar circ with a different solution?

If this had garnered any responses I'd have left it in Book Talk but, a few days on and with no replies, I thought it would be kinder to move it to Other Talk where folk might have a few personal recommendations, observations or off-topic additions to make the OP's day....

Even if this was posted in Book Talk originally, it's still

Well I'll say don't get that little book clip one from Brookstone. It is somehow very bright while still not lighting up most of what you want to read. Very awkward to use so I just ended up forgetting I even had it.
