Fire Breaks Out In CNN Studio

Just saw it. LOL. It's in the Atlanta CNN center. You could hear electricity snapping in the background. The anchor woman looks up and leaves her desk.

LOL!

I'm sure they'll find some way to blame Bush for it.

Meanwhile after getting hit by a twister earlier today Fox News has received a flood of donations from viewers. The main offices have been filled with Confederate and American flags, Bald Eagle statues and portraits of a wind blown Brett Hume with the words, "we shall never forget". And one loyal viewer has offered the use of his trailer park for E.D. Hill and the rest of the morning crew while their studio is getting repaired.

Yeah, I'm here at work and was a few minutes away from directing for the show that had the fire. It wasn't THAT big of a deal. Kind of surprised it made the front page of Drudge. This is Headline News, not CNN (same building). Chuck Roberts said afterwards that he doubts anyone here at work thought it was a big deal because lights pop all the time, but he said there were flames shooting out of the light and it was scary for a minute or two. It went away quickly.

Everyone here thought it was kind of funny (of course, after knowing there was no danger). We all wanted to see the video just like everyone else!

This happened in Atlanta? I knew when they hired "Correspondant Sherman" it was a bad idea.

They had the newscaster footage on my local channel this morning. (Pretty sure it was the local news.)

You didn't see the flames, but you saw the female anchor keep looking up, finally un-hooking her mic...(I left the room)

Fire in CNN studio

I know there was a thread on this but after 20 searches for CNN*, Fire, Studio, etc., I couldn't find the damn thing.

Anyway, here's a You Tube video. Mods, please merge this if you can find the old thread:
