Eat at CA Denny's, you WILL be shot and killed!

Man Shot Dead at Calif. Denny's Restaurant 1 hour, 39 minutes ago

ANAHEIM, Calif. - A gunman opened fire early Friday at a Denny's restaurant, killing one man and seriously wounding another, police said. It was the third fatal shooting at the restaurant chain in Southern California this week.

The 2:45 a.m. shooting happened after a fight between two large groups inside the restaurant, said Sgt. Rick Martinez of the Anaheim Police Department.

One victim re-entered the restaurant after being shot and died inside, Martinez said. The other victim was taken to a hospital and was expected to survive.

The gunman was being sought by authorities. The shooting did not appear to be gang-related, Martinez said.

The shooting was the third in a Southern California Denny's in three days. In Pismo Beach on Wednesday, a transient with two guns walked into the restaurant at lunchtime, fatally shot two men and wounded a married couple before committing suicide.

And in Ontario, a 37-year-old man was fatally shot in a Denny's parking lot Thursday after a fight. The gunman was still being sought.

It's a proven fact!

Duh. Everyone in CA has known this for years. What's really scary is that there are alot more shootings at Denny's here where people just get injured, but that doesn't make the news because it happens fairly often.

Me and the woman are headed up to Pismo Beach area this weekend. I figure, what are the chances of two shootings within the span of a week? Should be the safest place to eat in the whole state.

Note to self, always carry an extra mag. when going to Denny's.

Does anyone know if concealed carry is legal in Ca.? To my knowledge it's not, but, I don't live there (thank christ).

You cannot carry a concealed weapon on you in the state of CA. Somehow the gang members haven't gotten that memo!

I bet Denny's image consultants are working furiously to find out what it is about their decor that makes people want to shoot up the place.

I'm going to CA next week for some work business. I definately won't be eating at any Denny's while I'm there, as I value my life.

How strange that a breakfast place that caters to large drunk groups in the early morning hours has so many fights and shootings.

I'm thinking we're due for a DVDTALK harbor area lunch at Denny's by the 110 and PCH... They do have a thing or two that I like myself.

Denny's would be alright if it wasn't for the 2 hr wait to get your food. I'd probably shoot someone too.
