Haven't been to the malls-just grocery shopping.Cleaning the house today and trying to find storage space for my laserdiscs(don't complain about dvd storage).Never knew I had so many VHS tapes(another storage problem).

I watched the Green Bay game I had on my DVR from a week ago, and Black Hawk Down (half the bonus features, I just got the 3 disc set). I took a half hour nap after being up for 4 hours.

I'm hitting Taco Bell later and watching a few episodes of Sopranos season two, or maybe some Doogie Howser season one. Wait, maybe Sports Night..

- Went to Target and bought discounted holiday items (wrapping paper, lights, boxes, etc)

- Installed Siruis receiver in my dads truck

- Rode motorcycle for a couple of hours (nice & sunny day here, 62 degrees)

- About to take a nap & then get caught up on some shows on the DVR

I'm restraining myself from shopping for anything today, because I'm low on cash, but more importantly I'm trying to downsize my stuff so that I can hopefully move in the near future.

To that end, I've been putting up ads on craigslist and my church's members' website to sell some larger things, trying to make a list of stuff I can get rid off, and spending some time jobhunting online... goal for the day (and every day until I find a job) is to email at least 10 places with resumes/cover-letters... I don't expect to actually hit 10 per day, but I'm aiming high. There are a lot of jobs where I'm looking...

To honor the pugilists who gave up so much to give us our freedom, I am punching several people in the gut or sternum.

My wife worked, and since I spent most of my time off last Thursday and Friday trying to get the house in order for company, I did nothing productive at all yesterday! I never even got dressed or left the house!

Let's see; got up at 10, watched all the extras for "Serenity", had leftover turkey and stuffing, played "Harvest Moon" for PS2 for a few hours... wife came home and we just got pizza, then played "Vice City" and watched a few more episodes of "Soap: Season 4".

A whole lot of nothing...Wife and I began watching the first season of Veronica Mars and ate Chinese food. We are still both sick so it was nice to sit back and relax. Now back at work .

Boxing Day is a public holiday observed in many Commonwealth countries on 26 December. In many European countries it is also a holiday, called St. Stephen's Day or the Second Day of Christmas. Depending on its origin, it may have traditionally been strictly defined as the first weekday after Christmas. However over the past few decades, Boxing Day has been almost universally accepted as the 26th of December, although its associated public holiday may fall on a different day.

In the United States (where the term "Boxing Day" is not used and is in fact unfamiliar to most) and Canada, Boxing Day is the day when many retail stores sell their products at discounted rates. This results in huge lineups at retailers. Stores have these sales to clear out old inventory for the next year. Many products have a mail-in rebate to be used, a tactic used by manufacturers to clear their inventory. This trend is also increasingly occuring in the UK (despite it being a public holiday).

In Canada, and indeed any other country that celebrates it, Boxing Day is also observed as a public holiday, and is a day when stores sell their excess Christmas inventory at significantly reduced prices. Boxing Day has become so important for retailers that they often extend it into a "Boxing Week". This occurs similarly in Australia and New Zealand.

Oh hey, me too! Last minute plan with a friend last night. I really really liked it, too, but was surprised at how SWAMPED the whole theater (entire lobby, parking lot, lines, etc) was.

I will narcissistically assume you are talking to me, and answer!

I work for the government, so we got yesterday off... a lot of people I know also got yesterday off. Plus a lot of Boeing employees (not sure if it's ALL, but certainly all my friends who work for them) get this entire week off... it's like they close down for the week. They're a big employer here, so that might explain it.

Tell me about it. I stood in the queue for almost an hour.
