So who had Chinese food today?

My family had all of our events on Friday and Saturday, so today me and just my mom and dad went to a Chinese food buffet, since that was pretty much all that was open around here.

Who took that route as well?

Had Christmas dinner with the family yesterday since all of my siblings are spending today with their spouse's families (I'm the only one who's still single) so I hit up my local Chinese food place for some grub. Went with the Sweet and Sour chicken and damn was it tasty and I have enough left over for lunch tomorrow!

My sister gave me an invite to go with her and her bf to a chinese buffet (I politely declined though).

I voted "Yes", even though it was leftover Chinese food from Christmas Eve...and it was only for lunch.

We had a traditional turkey dinner this evening.

That thought never even crossed my mind... but I'm definitely not opposed to it. Maybe next year.....

I didn't, but I have before.

One of my best Christmas memories:

We were at my grandfather's place in Tulsa, OK. I was about 10. We had breakfast, opened presents, played with presents, and all of a sudden all of our family just stared at each other as if to say "what do we do now?" So my grandfather says, "We're going out to lunch." Even at 10 years old, I was thinking "what's open on Christmas?" but everyone got ready and we hopped in my grandad's huge cadillac.

We drove around for a long time, until we came to the first open place we saw, it was a sub shop run by some middle-eastern guys. The place was packed and everyone was having a good time. The guys working were singing and laughing with the customers, and when the sandwiches were done they'd wrap them in foil and toss them to the customers. I had a cheesteak and a coke and it seemed that everyone in the tiny restaurant was family, at least for lunch.

Technically, I had a leftover egg roll at about 1am last night, so I guess "yep".

No, but it sounds damn good. I'm at work, so maybe I'll have some Raman with Sriracha sauce.

I guess the one I tried to order from wasn't aware of that factoid....

They answered the phone but he told me they were closed for the Christmas.
