My new car

I picked up my new 2006 Honda Accord EX-L with navi on sat. Friggin poured the whole day and today is a shitty day too for driving. But regardless of weather condition, it is a joy driving the car. Man, I LOVE this car. Performance is great for a 4 cylinders, handles well in the shitty NYC bumpy roads, smooth and quiet. The navigation is awesome. I wish they would improve on the touchscreen sensitivity and accuracy. Sometimes, I am pressing on the screen and nothing happens or what I pressed is not what I selected. The voice recognition system is really cool but need some times to learn. My butt will never be cold again in the winter with the heated seats. I wish I have a roadtrip to go to now.

Here are a few quick snap of my car

Nice car!

Neighborhood looks a bit sketchy, though.

Yep. It's a NYC version. 180 blocks in 180 minutes.

No, it's 160. Like the car is really capable of doing 160.

Oh 160, it was kind of blurry. That seems fine then.

i doubt the stock tires are W rated. not to mention, the governer is probably set substantially under that anyways.

but that's beyond the point. the accord is definately a very good bang for the buck! definately an excellent choice

I've got the 2001 Honda Accord Coupe EX in the San Marino Red. I'm a Honda customer for life. Excellent choice!

Well, this one has more layers of security. Easiest way is to just tow my car.

It's nice. I would have gone for an Accord but didn't want to spend an extra 7-8k.

How much are your payments if you don't mind me asking? Also, how much did you get it for, was there wheeling and dealing?

No payments since I paid it off completely. The sales guy sold it for $25,888 but with the wheel locks, moonroof visor, BS NY sales tax, registration, inspection, etc., it came out to $28,500.

For sure. I really like the cluster on the steering wheel. Some really nice changes in the interior too.

I've never sat in the 03-05 models so I have no comparsion in the interior. I like the 3rd brake light in the trunk lid though. It looks better than the other 7th gen. Accord. No keyhole too.
