Do you take off your MP3 player to go to the bathroom?

Simple question, really. Discuss.

NOTE: This is not a "public" poll.

I store my iPod in my rectum, so it depends on the transaction.

On a related note, a thousand thanks to Apple for coming out with the Nano.

Sometimes I roll my TV cart in there and catch a few innings of baseball.

I need to scratch my left ear. This seems as good a place as any to mention that.

Don't own one, nor do I have any interest in getting one. Takes too much time to get the music on there in the first place.

Don't you worry about it getting wet?

I mean, like tbat Friends episode, some guy could just walk up to you and splash water all over you. You would not only look like a pervent, but have a broken mp3 player.

Don't have an MP3 player, but I also occasionally bring my laptop to the crapper.

No, I have in-wall/in-ceiling speakers all over the house, so it's not necessary for me. I have music playing most of the time though..

Just ordered an iPod Nano for use when riding my motorcycle & for use in the car. No Poo-p3 palyer for me!

Is mp3 player a euphemism for underwear? If so, the answer is no.

You know the MP3s, they're pretty good, they're like CDs on a computer. Kind of reminds me of the time when, you know, it's rock-and-roll music, kids are going to like it. Who cares if they are liking the Creed (sux), but the band broke up now, so it's only apporpriate to listen to Scott Papp while you take a dump - get it? Cause his music is poopy and that haircut, cm'on man, you're not the guy from Bush, give it up.

I don't think it's legal to listen to music on headphones or any closed-ear equipment while driving anything.

Felt the same way... then got a new cell phone (LG VX8100) that has MP3 player... just transfer the songs onto Mini SD card and pop in the phone... now i'm one of the masses !

And yes, i've taken it in the bathroom.. it also does the internet/Vcast thing..plenty of bathroom entertainment.

Buddy of mine is a highway patrolman and he said it's ok for use on the interstate. Brought up the bike-to-bike communication radios as an example.

Oh, and I've got helmet speakers which are not closing or in the ear. Reason I got it is for long trips, not daily use.

As for the car use, I have a dock to integrate the iPod into the car audio system, not headphones.

I always do since I don't want it to become a health hazard. WHat if you have to hear if someone is near by so you don't make a loud fart but if you are listiening to music you might make the loud fart and then be a embarrestment to your whole family.

This thread didn't do nearly as well as I had hoped. I'm interested in seeing responses and hearing about how many people think it is unsanitary or not.
