Everybody out seeing Star Wars tonight?

It's just Thursday night and usually this place is a buzz. Only on Friday nights are things a bit slow here. I guess everybody is out catching their share of the Siths.

The wrong forum this is, methinks.

I saw it last night. I'm good for now. Definitely can't wait for the DVD. Will no doubt see it again in the upcoming weeks though.

SITH?? Isn't it KITH? I didn't realize the Kids released season 3 already. No wonder the boards are slow tonight. Dave Foley must be signing copies at the local BB.

I suppose I'll wait until the furor dies down until I take the kiddies to see Ep III.

My team at work took a 5-hour "team building retreat" to eat lunch and see Star Wars.

I'm taking a breather today. Yesterday got up at 4:15am to get ready for work. After work, got ready to head out to eat and get in line for the midnight show. Got home around 3am.... so it was a long day... damn near 24hrs.

Going to see it again tomorrow

I want the DVD just so I can step through the opening space battle. That whole sequence was pretty damn impressive.

No, I'll see it in a few weeks. Too much work to do right now and a vacation in the works or I might have been there tonight.

Fearing and loathing crowds as I do, I'll wait until it settles down a bit. A week or two, perhaps.

You know that phrase about going to a movie and being paid to do so.. well work picked up the cost and paid us for our normal time for the IT department to go today. Which to be honest is really the only reason I saw the movie today rather than waiting for it to hit DVD and borrow it from my younger sister.

.. erm, and because we went to the 1:45pm showing no crowd at all though when leaving it took a bit of time to get past the lines. Took a couple of pictures of the people in line with my phone for the heck of it too.

I ws back and forth on early shows today then I said fuck it I'll wait. Then i woke up this afternoon and thought about going then I got an e-mail to go into work work early.

Oh well, perhaps an early show on Friday....But I'm not standing in any line. I've got a friend who fakes a bad hip so she doesn't have to stand in long lines for the movies. She did when we saw Ep II.
