I found this to be one of the funniest clips I have ever watched on the internet....

Is Richard Simmons a homosexual? I know he's flaming, but is he gay?

jet ski!

What did Richard Simmons get mad at Letterman about? I'm not sure he's been back on in a long time, yet he was more than a good sport about this. Great clip!

I wonder if he had a boner. This will probably keep me up at night pondering.

I remember that episode...I laughed so hard my cheeks hurt (the rest of the show was good, too - Richard did 1 or 2 other skits with them).

Simmons came out in a turkey costume. Acted overly gay. Letterman got annoyed and emptied a fire extinguisher on him.

There are lots of things. Richard has a thing for Barbara Streisand. Even has a diamond ring that he carries around to give her in case he should ever meet her. David once said that Barabara was at the show, and Richard was nearly hysterical. Bud Melman came out with a sash that said "Barbara" on it.

That was perhaps the funniest thing I have ever seen.

Richard has a great sense of humor and doesn't mind being the butt of jokes. I still wonder if it is act or real. But damn, I love that guy.

I saw this episode when it first aired a while back. Definitely still stands out as one of the best ones of all time.

Agreed. He gets on my nerves....but then, as a gay guy, I've never been attracted to men who act nelly.

<-- late to the party.

Brilliant clip! Just saw it for the first time. I have to agree with kvrdave, he is very open for being someones punchline which makes it even funnier.
