Washington DC Metor Area - WHFS?!

Does anybody know what happened? I know the guys over at 101 were joking about how they were going to turn mexican, but all of a sudden 99.1 was canned today and is all spanish.

Apparently a 40+ year old station just went out the window!

It happens. Just the other day I was pressing the presets on my car radio and one station out of the few decent available ones had suddenly turned Mexican.

Well, http://www.whfs.com redirects to http://www.elzol991.com , so it looks like you're right.

I didn't know this had happened, I can't believe there's a market for hispanic music in Baltimore.

seems pretty crazy

This is horrific news. That was the only station that was willing to experiment with playlists in modern rock. No more HFSestival? This sucks.
