Do you eat frosting/icing by itself? I do and love it! You should too!

I always loved eating frosting by itself and a few friends were over and, for some reason, I have never eaten it by itself in front of them, and when I popped the top open everybody is like "You makin' a cake?"

I said "No. I'm going to eat this."

I got a "That's nasty!" and "Sick" from the guys and from the girls a few "Ewwww."s.

I never thought it would be considered nasty. I mean whats the one thing everyone likes on a cake (for normal people out there ) and usually scrapes their finger through a cake to eat? Frosting!

I am eating Betty Crocker's Rich & Creamy Triple Chocolate Fudge Chip.

You need more smilies in your post, but otherwise you're doing a fine job as "Edit King for a Day."

I typed that one a little too fast, though. Too much chocolate today I guess....

When the cake has been frosted, there's always enough left in the can for me to have a tasty snack...

I hope you aren't surprised to learn that you are basically eating grease mixed with sugar.

Why pay for the cans of frosting? Here's an easy recipe:

Crisco
Confectioners sugar
Vanilla flavoring (or other flavoring)

Pour into mixer, whip it up, and enjoy. For about $10 you should be able to mix up a gallon or two of the stuff.

I usually take off the frosting from most cakes (yuck!), so no.

I didn't vote. I wanted to vote none of the above but I'm certainly not using the twikoff vote!

I have done this before (not all the time) & yes it does depend on my mood (which has nothing to do with my weight).

Where is a guy like me supposed to vote??

I go to Bi-Lo everytime they have frosting on sale and pick up about 5 cans which lasts me about three weeks (usually when another sale occurs for frosting). I don't think I have ever spent over $1.25-$1.50 on a can.

I could care less what is in the stuff, I have been 159 lbs since I was 16 (I am 20 now). Think of the body of Topher Grace on That 70's Show (I know lanky and hardly any muscle...I don't want to be Ahhnold, okay.)

and always get check ups from the doctor and I am in very good health (except for the small smoking thing, but hey that is a slow death so I have a while...)

I guess walking about 16,000 miles a day at school is really helping me out!

YAH for me!

i make cake or brownie batter with no intention of ever baking it

same with cookie dough

love icing but will only eat it if it is free (aka at mom and dads house) since it is cheaper to buy the other mixes. yes, i know, i'm nasty

I didn't want to admit this in my post above so I'm glad you admitted it 1st. Now I don't feel so weird.
