Christopher Reeve - RIP

From Drudge

Nikki Finke in Los Angeles is reporting that actor Christopher Reeve is dead, according to sources close to the actor. He died suddenly Sunday. News of his death has not been reported publicly yet. His family will make an announcement Monday at the earliest. Reeve was just mentioned Friday in the second live presidential debate by John Kerry. Noting he was a friend of the paralysed Reeve, Kerry said he was in favor of further stem cell research because Reeve could walk again one day thanks to such science....

He was Superman...

Sad news, indeed.

To a generation, he made them believe a man could fly.

You'll be miss. RIP.

And Dr. Swan on Smallville. A tragic loss. He was a symbol for hope for so many.

Holy crap this just came out of nowhere. I mean, I know that he's bad off but dead? My mind can't even comprehend this one right now I'm so shocked.

Janet Leigh and Rodney Dangerfield were understandable, and I were ready for both of them, but this one is hard to swallow.

This guy had some set of balls on him. What a fighter, sad to see him die without him ever taking a step. I had the priveldge of working what I believe was his first job post accident, when he starred in a remake of Rear Window. The poor guy was in rough shape then, could work no more than 6 hours a day, but he was out there fighting. May he find peace and fly again in heaven. RIP Superman.

There's one thing I know for sure, son. And that is, YOU ARE HERE FOR A REASON. I don't know what it is, exactly..."

Very Sad.

I had hoped Dr. Swan would have a bigger role on Smallville this year. His appearances have been real highlights.

Yep. I am saddened by this because he won't be able to see stem cell research take off.
