Ice Cream Store that makes Chocolate Dolphin Ice Cream Cakes?

I was watching a special on the Travel channel about various ice cream businesses around the country.

I remember there was one company that was mainly found in the eastern U.S. They specialized in ice cream cake.
I can't remember the name of the company (found in New Jersey), but they have a web site that sells online.

Their trademark, I believe, is a dolphin.

You apparently can order the cakes online. However, the chocolate dolphin ice cream cake is only available at the B&M places.

Has anyone eaten there and/or had one of the dolphin cakes for a party?

I think you are refering to "Fudgey the Whale" he is made by Carvel.

Thanks Brain Stew!

You're right, it was a whale not a dolphin.

So, has anyone ever had one before?

It used to be sort of like Krispy Kremes are today, I think. People used to eat Fudgey the Whale, Cookiepuss and Cookie-o-puss all the time.

Carvel is delicious. I grew up on the east coast, and boy, are they yummy.

They've started selling Carvel cakes in Jewel grocery stores here in Chicago. Jewel is owned by Albertson's, so if you live near an Albertson's or a store owned by them, maybe you too can get Carvel cake.
